How to play
Each day there's a new board of sixteen clues. Every clue has a number for an answer.
The goal
Tap the clues in order from the smallest answer to the largest. The first tap should be the lowest number on the board, then the next one up, and so on until all sixteen are revealed.
The catch
You don't know which numbers are on the board. It might run 1 to 16, or it might jump from 9 to 11 to 1,066. When you've just found 9, check whether anything could be 10. If nothing is, look for 11.
Lives
You have five lives. A wrong tap costs one and tells you nothing about the answer. Lose all five and the board reveals itself.
Difficulty
Every board is rated from Easy to Brutal, shown as one to five dots under the date. Easy boards stick to things most people know. Brutal ones lean on dates, decimals and huge numbers.
Example
- Beatles album (2000) → 1
- Poles on Earth → 2
- Original Take That members → 5
- Holes in a round of golf → 18
Themed days
Some days have a theme, such as Decimal Day, the Shortest Day or the run-up to Christmas. Numbers can be negative, decimal, or enormous.
Streaks
Finish the day's board on the day to keep your streak going. Archive boards are just for fun and don't count. Your stats are stored in your own browser.
